In New Delhi, the total market capitalization of seven of the top ten most valued companies increased by Rs 1,06,250.95 crore last week, with Bajaj Finance and Reliance Industries being the largest contributors, reflecting a positive trend in the equity market. During the same period, the BSE benchmark rose by 901.11 points, or 1.12 percent, while the Nifty gained 314.15 points, or 1.28 percent. Among the top ten firms, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance, and LIC recorded gains, whereas TCS, Infosys, and Hindustan Unilever experienced a decline in their market valuations. Bajaj Finance saw an increase of Rs 37,960.96 crore, bringing its total to Rs 5,83,451.27 crore.
Reliance Industries added Rs 23,343.51 crore, raising its valuation to Rs 18,59,767.71 crore. HDFC Bank’s market cap grew by Rs 17,580.42 crore to reach Rs 14,78,444.32 crore, while LIC’s valuation increased by Rs 15,559.49 crore to Rs 5,54,607.42 crore.
