New Delhi, May 6 (). A truck suddenly caught fire in Delhi’s Wazirpur. However, the driver narrowly escaped being caught in the fire. Officials gave this information on Saturday.
According to the information, the incident took place at 2 pm. Some people called the PCR and informed about the incident, after which the fire brigade was called.
A fire official said that two fire tenders were rushed to the spot and after a lot of effort, they brought the fire under control.
The truck was loaded with goods and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, a fire official said. The driver managed to save himself by jumping from the truck in time.
A senior police officer said that the truck was loaded with cardboard.
