Following the recent disaster in the Nandanagar region of Chamoli district, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the site today to assess the relief and rescue operations. He met with affected families, offering them assurances of necessary assistance. In Nandanagar, life is gradually returning to normal post-disaster. To evaluate the situation, CM Dhami arrived in the affected areas on Saturday. During his inspection, he reviewed the progress of relief efforts and instructed the district administration to act promptly. He emphasized that victims should not face any inconvenience. The Chief Minister engaged with affected families, checked on their well-being, and promised them support.
He stated that during this crisis, the state government is fully committed to helping them, prioritizing the distribution of essential resources. While touring relief camps, he examined facilities including food, drinking water, medical care, sanitation, and temporary housing. He also reassured that efforts are in progress to restore normalcy in people’s lives as soon as possible, and emphasized the importance of implementing permanent solutions for future disasters. Senior administrative officials, disaster management teams, and public representatives accompanied the CM during his visit, reinforcing that the state government is dedicated to providing comprehensive assistance to affected families.
