  • 1/2 cup vermicelli
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons custard powder
  • 4-5 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
  • 4-5 tablespoons chopped orange
  • 4-5 tablespoons chopped apple
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almonds

1 tablespoon raisins

Method for Vermicelli Custard Recipe:

  1. Toast Vermicelli:
    • Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add the vermicelli and toast until it turns golden brown.
  2. Cook Vermicelli:
    • Pour the milk into the pan with the toasted vermicelli.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the vermicelli is cooked and the mixture thickens.
  3. Prepare Custard:
    • In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with a little milk to form a smooth paste.
    • Gradually stir the custard paste into the simmering vermicelli mixture.
    • Add sugar and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the custard thickens.
  4. Add Fruits and Nuts:
    • Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
    • Gently fold in the pomegranate seeds, chopped orange, chopped apple, pistachios, almonds, and raisins.
  5. Serve:
    • Pour the custard into serving bowls and let it cool to room temperature.
    • For a chilled dessert, refrigerate before serving.
