Vivo has introduced OriginOS 6 alongside BlueOS 3.0 for its smartwatches. This new operating system is built on Android 16 and incorporates a range of advanced AI features. Initially, it will be available on devices such as the Vivo X300 Pro, Vivo X300, and iQOO 15, with a rollout for older models in India expected from November 2025. OriginOS 6 showcases a sleek redesign inspired by Apple’s ‘Liquid Glass,’ featuring a modernized interface on the homescreen, lock screen, and app layouts. BlueOS 3 includes a flexible, resizable dynamic clock widget that adjusts with incoming notifications, as well as rounded app icons and curving widgets for a contemporary aesthetic.
The design is influenced by the Liquid Glass look seen in iOS 26. A key highlight is the new ‘Atomic Island,’ similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, which offers quick access to tools like timers and music playback alongside system-wide controls. The update’s core is the powerful Blue River Smooth Engine, which incorporates super-core processing, dual-rendering architecture, and enhanced photographic storage. These technologies work together to provide smoother animations, quicker app switching, and more responsive touch interactions. OriginOS 6 is packed with AI features aimed at enhancing daily convenience, including an AI-powered voice assistant, AI-generated summaries, a Live Photo AI removal tool, and an improved search function allowing users to circle any object on the screen for instant information.
