Rajat Patidar achieved a rapid century on the opening day of the Duleep Trophy 2025 quarterfinal between Central Zone and North East Zone at BCCI Ground 2 in Bengaluru. The Central Zone captain scored 125 runs off 80 balls, featuring 18 fours and 2 sixes. This marked his 14th century in first-class cricket. He came to the crease after Aryan Juyal, who retired hurt after scoring 60 runs. Patidar reached his fifty in just 42 balls before being dismissed by Jotin Pheiroijam. In the same innings, Danish Malewar also notched a century, scoring 144 balls.
