Police have released women protesters including Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Sangeeta Phogat, the police officer said.

Sakshi Malik had told that she will go to Jantar Mantar and her fight will continue till justice is served.

However, the police had said that the protesters would not be allowed to return to Jantar Mantar.

Earlier in the day, Olympian wrestlers Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Sangeeta Phogat were detained by the Delhi Police when they tried to march towards the newly built Parliament House. They were taken to three different places in the city, so that there could be no contact between the three.
