Apple is set to launch the iPhone 17 series on September 9, 2025, during its ‘Awe Dropping’ event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, starting at 10:30 PM IST. The company is anticipated to introduce four new models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new slim version called the iPhone 17 Air. The key features expected include the A19 Pro chip built on a 3nm process, offering up to 12GB of RAM, and 120Hz ProMotion LTPO OLED displays across all models. The iPhone 17 and Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 17 Air will boast a lightweight design.
In terms of design, the Pro and Air models are expected to have an aluminum frame, a lower placement for the Apple logo, and a larger rectangular camera bump on the Pro variants. Color options for the Pro models include Black, White, Gray, Dark Blue, and Orange, whereas the standard model will come in Green, Pink, Light Blue, Black, White, and Pewter Gray. Camera enhancements will feature a 24MP front camera on all models, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max equipped with triple 48MP rear cameras capable of 8K video recording. The iPhone 17 Air will have a single 48MP rear camera, while the Pro models will include a mechanical aperture, dual video recording capabilities, and 5x optical zoom.
