New Delhi, May 13 (). Celebrations have begun at the party office in Delhi after the trends showed the Congress crossing the absolute majority mark of 113 and leading in 118 seats in the Karnataka assembly elections. Party workers celebrated by beating drums at the Congress headquarters.
Several leaders, including a large number of workers, were seen celebrating after the election result trends at the party headquarters by bursting crackers, distributing sweets and carrying Congress flags.
The Congress also tweeted a video of Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, with Sia’s song Unstoppable playing in the background.
The video played the lyrics of the song, I am invincible. I am a car without brakes. I am invincible Yes, I win every single game. I am very strong. I don’t need batteries to play. I am very sure. Yes, I am invincible today.
The Congress is leading in 118 assembly seats in Karnataka on Saturday, according to the latest data from the Election Commission of India (11.24 am).
According to the Election Commission, the vote share of the Congress currently stands at 43.1 per cent, while that of the BJP is 36 per cent.
