Death toll in Maharashtra building collapse rises to eight

2 killed in Thane building collapse, 22 feared trapped

Thane, May 1 (). The death toll in the Bhiwandi building collapse in Maharashtra’s Thane district has risen to eight as two more bodies have been recovered from the debris. Officials gave this information here on Monday. Officials said that both the bodies were fished out about 48 hours after the accident. The debris removal work continued for the third day as well.
