New Delhi, April 28 (). In a shocking incident, a student of Class VIII was beaten to death near a municipal government school in Delhi’s Badarpur area. An official gave this information on Friday.
According to the police, the incident took place on Thursday late evening.
A senior police officer said, the police control room received a call at 8:20 pm, in which a woman claimed that two boys had beaten up a child, who is also a school student, and threw her in a drain near the school. Thrown away.
Police reached the spot and found the dead body of a boy of about 12-13 years in his school uniform in the drain.
The deceased has been identified as Saurabh (12), a resident of Molarband village, Bilaspur Camp, the official said. He was a Class VIII student at MCD School, Tajpur Pahari.
On examination of the body, the police found several injury marks on the head, which appeared to be caused by a blunt object.
The presence of the school bag and four to five blood-stained stones (bricks) near the body suggest that these stones were used in the crime, the officer said.
