A Delhi court has placed self-proclaimed godman Chaitanyananda Saraswati in judicial custody for 14 days. This decision was made on Friday after the Delhi Police presented him to judicial magistrate Animesh Kumar at the Patiala House Courts, following the end of his five-day police custody. The police requested judicial custody for Chaitanyananda, who faces allegations of molesting 17 women students at a private management institute. His attorney filed a motion for access to the seizure memo and case diaries, which the court granted.
