Due to the protest, Delhi Metro closed the entry and exit gates of two stations

New Delhi, May 28 (). The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed all entry and exit gates of two metro stations – Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan – for commuters ahead of the wrestlers’ call to hold a women’s panchayat outside the new Parliament building.

This has been done to avoid any untoward incident.

“As per instructions received from Delhi Metro Rail Police, all entry gates of Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan stations are closed for movement of passengers,” a tweet from the metro said. However, interchange facilities are available at the Central Secretariat.

Passengers are allowed to change metro trains at Central Secretariat.

Delhi Police has also increased security around the new Parliament House and outside the metro station gate.
