Srinagar, May 7 (). An associate of terrorists has been arrested in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from his possession.
Pulwama police averted a major incident by nabbing terrorist associate Ishfaq Ahmed Wani, a resident of Argaam Pulwama, and recovered an IED (around 5-6 kg) on his disclosure, said a police officer. Investigation has been started by registering the case.
Terrorists have been successfully intercepted by carrying out several operations in the Union Territory, due to which several terrorists and their commanders have been eliminated. Several people have been arrested in the last few months to bring down the ecosystem of terror in Jammu and Kashmir.
