Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced on Friday that India Post will introduce a guaranteed mail and parcel delivery service with timelines of 24 hours and 48 hours. The new service will commence in January, featuring a 24-hour Speed Post option for mail delivery and a 48-hour Speed Post for longer timelines. Additionally, next-day parcel delivery services will be implemented, significantly reducing the current delivery time of 3-5 days.
