Jaisalmer. Rajasthan Governor Hari Bhau Bagde visited the ancient Shakti Peeth Tanot Mata Temple in Jaisalmer, located on the India-Pakistan border, on Friday. He offered prayers and wished for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Rajasthan. On this occasion, he stated that Tanot Mata Temple in Jaisalmer is a symbol of faith and valor and serves as a spiritual center for the soldiers guarding the nation’s borders under extreme conditions.

At the Victory Pillar in the Tanot Mata Temple premises in Jaisalmer, Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers accorded Governor Hari Bhau Bagde a Guard of Honor. The governor then paid floral tribute to the martyrs at the Victory Pillar in Jaisalmer. During the event, BSF North Deputy Inspector General Yogendra Singh Rathore welcomed the governor and presented him with an image of Tanot Mata as a token of respect in Jaisalmer.

Visit to Bablianwala Border Post in Jaisalmer and Interaction with Soldiers

Governor Hari Bhau Bagde also visited the Bablianwala border post in Jaisalmer, where he interacted with BSF soldiers stationed there. He praised their dedication and courage, stating that their sacrifices and bravery allow the citizens of the country to live in peace and security.

During the visit, the governor had a one-on-one dialogue with the soldiers in Jaisalmer, listened to their experiences, and expressed his gratitude. He remarked that being among the soldiers filled him with renewed energy. He also encouraged them and distributed fruits and sweets as a token of appreciation in Jaisalmer.

Governor Bagde emphasized that the Border Security Force (BSF) is India’s first line of defense, with its soldiers remaining alert and committed to safeguarding the country’s borders. He stated that BSF soldiers in Jaisalmer are always ready to counter any challenges. During the visit, BSF Deputy Inspector General Yogendra Singh Rathore briefed the governor on border security operations and the challenges faced in Jaisalmer and surrounding areas.

Internal Security Coordination Meeting in Jaisalmer

A high-level Internal Security Coordination Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Governor Hari Bhau Bagde at the BSF auditorium in the Tanot Mata Temple complex in Jaisalmer. Senior officials from district administration and BSF attended the meeting. The governor stressed the importance of strengthening internal security systems and developing basic infrastructure such as roads and drinking water facilities in border areas of Jaisalmer.

He emphasized that securing the country’s borders in Jaisalmer is as crucial as maintaining robust internal security. The meeting also included discussions on the status of Pakistani refugees in Jaisalmer, drug smuggling prevention, anti-smuggling operations, and measures against cybercrimes. The governor instructed officials in Jaisalmer to take strict action against drug trafficking and implement strategies to curb drug abuse among youth.

Visit to Ranau Village in Jaisalmer and Public Address

Governor Hari Bhau Bagde visited Ranau village in Jaisalmer, a border community, and addressed a gathering at the Government Senior Secondary School. He highlighted that Jaisalmer has always been a land of warriors and commended the villagers for their continuous support in protecting the nation’s borders.

During the interaction, the governor collected feedback on essential facilities such as water, electricity, and healthcare in Jaisalmer. He also inquired about houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in Jaisalmer and directed officials to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive their rightful benefits. He encouraged villagers in Jaisalmer to take full advantage of government welfare schemes and urged authorities to enhance the living conditions of border residents.

Encouragement for Students in Jaisalmer

The governor interacted with students in Jaisalmer and assessed their academic progress. He motivated them to pursue higher education and strive for successful careers. During the event, Ranau village Sarpanch Kekoo Devi and other villagers in Jaisalmer warmly welcomed the governor.

Later, Governor Bagde held a district-level administrative meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium in Jaisalmer, where he reviewed the ongoing development programs and government schemes in the region.
