New Documentary Showcases the Splendor of Proddatur Dasara Festivities

The upcoming film Kalivi Vanam conveys the significant message “Vrukscho Rakshati Rakshitaha,” which translates to “When we protect trees, they protect us.” Set against the rural landscape of Telangana, the film underscores the necessity of forest preservation. Directed and written by Raj Narendra, it features a cast including Raghu Babu, Sammeta Gandhi, Vijayalakshmi, Bithiri Sathi, Balagam Satyanarayana, Mahendra Nath, Satish, Sri Charan, and Ashok, with Nagadurga making her debut in the lead female role. Produced by Mallikarjun Reddy and Vishnuvardhan Reddy under the AR Productions banner, Kalivi Vanam has finished production and is slated for release in theaters on November 21. The film’s trailer and poster were recently launched by senior journalists, garnering positive feedback.

Actor Sammeta Gandhi noted that the film portrays the profound bond between forests and human existence, commending the producers for their commitment to authentic filming in the forests of Jagtial. Music director Madeen S.K expressed optimism that viewers will be emotionally impacted by the film’s heartfelt narrative and music. Director Raj Narendra characterized Kalivi Vanam as a family-oriented film that combines entertainment with environmental consciousness. He stressed that cinema can serve both educational and entertaining purposes, inviting parents and children to watch together and internalize the film’s message about valuing nature.
