Following the tremendous success of Kantara, Kannada cinema is reconnecting with its cultural heritage through Koragajja, a film inspired by the divine protector revered in Tulu Nadu, parts of Karnataka, Kerala, and Mumbai. Produced by Thrivikram Sapalya under Thrivikrama Cinemas and Success Films, the film is directed by Sahitya Akademi Award winner Sudheer Attavar. The music for Koragajja is composed by Gopi Sundar, and a grand audio launch recently took place in Mangaluru, attracting significant attention. The event showcased the cast in themed outfits and garnered large audiences. The album features songs by renowned artists including Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, and Armaan Malik, released through Zee Music.
Producer Thrivikram Sapalya expressed his appreciation for the enthusiastic response to the film’s promotional materials, assuring an exciting release in the near future. Director Sudheer Attavar mentioned that Koragajja upholds the proud tradition of Kannada cinema by crafting stories that resonate globally. Actresses Shruti and Bhavya, along with actor Sandeep Soparkar, expressed their enthusiasm for being involved in such a culturally significant project. Currently in post-production, Koragajja has already generated significant anticipation, establishing itself as the next major cultural event from Kannada cinema.
