New Delhi, April 6 (). On Thursday, the last day of the budget session, there was a lot of uproar in the Lok Sabha over the demand for formation of a JPC to probe the Adani issue. As soon as the proceedings of Lok Sabha started at 11 am on Thursday, as soon as Om Birla started giving information about the work done during the session, Congress MPs dressed in black came to the well and started raising slogans demanding JPC.
Giving information about the work done during the session, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha strongly reprimanded the MPs who created ruckus and said that their conduct and behavior is not beneficial for the Parliament and the country. This is not proper for the House and for the democratic decorum of the country.
He said that there has been a high level of dignity and decorum in the House, but the manner in which the conduct and behavior (ruckus and sloganeering after coming to the Well) is being done in the House is not appropriate at all.
He said that he is ready for discussion and dialogue on every topic, the House was run till late night and he was also given enough time to speak. But the dignity of the House is being lowered which is not fair at all. He said that it is not appropriate to disrupt the proceedings of the House in a planned manner.
Today was the last day of the second phase of the budget session, so after that Birla adjourned the proceedings of the house indefinitely.
