Kolhapur, May 2 (). Arun Gandhi, son of Sushila and Manilal Gandhi and grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, passed away in Kolhapur, Maharashtra on Tuesday morning. His son gave this information.
He was 89 and is survived by son Tushar, daughter Archana, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The last rites of Arun Gandhi, who describes himself as a peace farmer, will be held in Kolhapur this evening.
She co-authored the books Kasturba, The Forgotten Woman with Bethany Hegedes, illustrated by Grandfather Gandhi and Ivan Turk, The Gift of Anger: And Other Lessons from My Grandfather Mahatma Gandhi.
