Mughalai Paratha

- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Water ( to knit the flour )
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup cheese, pumpkin pumpkin
- 1/4 cup green peas (boiled)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon hot masala
- 1/4 teaspoon hing (asafoetida)
- 1 green pepper, thinly chopped
- 1/4 cup green coriander, finely sliced
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil or ghee, for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the dough
- Add flour, oil and salt in a large pot.
- Knit soft dough while pouring some water.
- Cover the flour with wet cloth and place it for 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the filling
- Boiled and mashed potatoes, pumpkin cheese, boiled green peas in a large pot.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red pepper powder, garam masala, hing, chopped green chillies, green coriander and salt to it.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Make Paratha
- Distribute flour into small parts and bail each part with ballon, as big as you want to make Paratha.
- Spread the mixture of Bharavan evenly on a banned paratha.
- Put another bellenedparatha up to cover the bharavan and press the edges well.
- Now bail the Paratha lightly so that the bhavan remains inside.
- Paratha Tale
- Heat a tawa or pan and add some oil or ghee.
- Add paratha and bake on medium flame until golden and crispy.
- Bake well from both sides and apply oil or ghee.
- Serve it
- – Serve MughalaiParatha with hot yogurt, chutney, or pickle of your choice.
