Greater Noida, May 13 (). After the voting in the second phase of municipal elections in Gautam Budh Nagar district, the counting of votes in the district has started from 8 am on Saturday. Police and administration have made complete preparations for this. The DM visited the counting places on Friday to review the preparations for the counting of votes and expressed satisfaction over the preparations. The first results of Bilaspur Nagar Panchayat are expected to come. The election result of Dadri Municipality President will come at the end.
The counting of votes at three places has started from 8 am. The counting of votes for Dadri Municipality is being done at Mihir Bhoj Inter College. For Dankaur and Bilaspur, the work of counting of votes is going on at Kisan Adarsh Inter College and Janta Inter College for Panchayat Jewar and Jahangirpur. The counting of votes is being done under CCTV surveillance and a large number of police forces have been deployed at the counting venue. A ban has been imposed on any polling agent or counting worker from taking mobile or any electronic device to the counting centre.
Maximum 25 tables have been set up for Dadri Municipality for counting of votes. The highest number of 49292 votes have been cast here, while the lowest number of 6166 votes have been cast in Bilaspur Nagar Panchayat. Here 3 tables have been placed and the results are expected to come first here.
