Owaisi expresses gratitude to Seemanchal voters after election win

After AIMIM’s success in securing five seats during the Bihar Assembly elections, party leader and Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi expressed his thanks to the citizens of the Seemanchal area. Speaking at a public gathering in Jokihat, Kishanganj, he referred to the mandate as a significant blessing from Allah and conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the backing his party received. Owaisi emphasized that he would always remember the esteem shown to AIMIM by the people of Seemanchal and pledged to continue advocating for the region’s needs. He noted that the people’s support for AIMIM has sent a powerful message across the nation, which will also impact Uttar Pradesh by empowering the impoverished there.

He urged the local MLA to stay committed to serving the public, stating, “When you work for the people today, Allah will bless you with success.” Reinforcing his thanks, Owaisi remarked that the trust of the people demonstrates that a unified Seemanchal does not require assistance from any other political entity. He added, “Today, others have lost their sleep.” Acknowledging potential mistakes, Owaisi commented, “We are human beings; we make mistakes. We may be guilty, but not traitors.” He described the electoral victory as a divine blessing and promised to uphold and enhance it. Owaisi assured that any shortcomings would be addressed and errors rectified.

He committed to continuing his visits to Seemanchal and also to regions where AIMIM did not achieve victory, to express gratitude to those communities as well. While not directly mentioning the RJD, he subtly criticized the party, stating, “Those whom I once helped are now crying. People in Patna thought I was weak.” In the previous 2020 Assembly election, AIMIM had won five seats in the Seemanchal area of Bihar; however, four of these later aligned with the RJD.
