In New Delhi, a parking disagreement among residents of a building in Subhash Nagar escalated into a violent altercation, resulting in injuries to two men and prompting police action, an official reported on Monday. The incident took place on the night of August 20 around 9:30 pm when Ramit Malhotra, a bank manager, and his wife requested their neighbor, Wazir Singh, to move his car, which was allegedly causing inconvenience. Singh complied and moved his vehicle after a brief exchange, but his son, 22-year-old Sahaj Singh, returned and began arguing with Malhotra. This verbal confrontation quickly escalated into a physical fight.
Sahaj then summoned three friends: Amandeep alias Sahib (32), a water purifier businessman from Tagore Garden Extension, Hashmeet (27), a mobile phone shop owner from the same area, and Sachin, who is currently on the run. The group allegedly attacked Malhotra and his neighbor Sandeep, who had intervened. Both victims were taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for treatment, while the accused also sustained minor injuries and received medical assistance.
