GURUGRAM: SpiceJet will run 250 daily flights during the Winter Schedule 2025, a significant rise from 125 daily flights in the previous Summer Schedule and 150 daily flights last winter. This reflects a 100% increase compared to the Summer 2025 schedule, highlighting SpiceJet’s robust growth and the increasing demand for air travel in both domestic and international markets. The airline anticipates reaching this target of 250 daily flights once all 19 leased aircraft are integrated into its fleet in the coming weeks. The new schedule will be introduced in stages beginning October 26, 2025. The revised schedule facilitates international leisure travel with the initiation of non-stop daily flights to Phuket from Delhi and Mumbai, two of India’s major metropolitan areas.
Domestically, metro connectivity will see significant improvements, with Mumbai-Bengaluru flights operating twice daily starting November 1 and November 15, and Chennai-Bengaluru flights launching on November 8. SpiceJet is also enhancing access to Rajasthan’s popular winter destinations – Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer. Kolkata will gain new connections to Jaipur (from October 31) and Udaipur, while Jaipur will connect to Guwahati and Mumbai from November 7, with Mumbai offering twice-daily services. Udaipur will connect to Mumbai and Delhi from November 7, and Jaisalmer will link to Delhi starting November 15. The airline continues to improve accessibility to key pilgrimage and regional hubs.
Daily flights to Ayodhya from Delhi and Ahmedabad will continue through winter, with Mumbai-Ayodhya flights commencing October 26, followed by Hyderabad-Ayodhya services from November 6. These expansions build on the successful Diwali special flights launched earlier this month, connecting Ayodhya with major cities. Moreover, Varanasi will gain connections to Pune from October 26 and Hyderabad from November 6. Patna will see new links to Hyderabad and Ahmedabad from October 26, and to Chennai from November 8. Kolkata will connect to Ahmedabad and Chennai from October 26, with an additional daily Chennai service starting November 6. A new daily Ahmedabad-Chennai flight will begin on November 27.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet, stated, “This winter signifies a crucial growth period for SpiceJet. Doubling our daily flights is a clear indication of our renewed momentum and growth strategy. The continued expansion of our fleet will enable us to increase frequency on essential routes and introduce new destinations, providing more options, capacity, and value to our passengers.” By November 2025, SpiceJet intends to more than double its operational fleet and triple its available seat kilometers (ASKM) to meet the rising passenger demand and further strengthen its presence across new domestic and international locations.
