Srinagar, May 30 (). Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference chief Sajjad Lone on Tuesday condemned the killing of a civilian by terrorists in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Sajjad Lone said that he is deeply disturbed and saddened by the tragic incident of a circus artist Deepu being shot dead. Lone expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
He said that the killing of Deepu in Anantnag is another incident of barbarity. Wonder how killing a civilian helps anyone. Lone said that Deepu had left his home in Udhampur and came to Anantnag in the hope of employment opportunities.
Deepu was here looking for employment for himself and his family, he said. Expressing condolences to the bereaved family, Lone said that the loss of a loved one is a great tragedy. Can’t express the pain and agony experienced by his family.
“My heartfelt condolences are with Deepu’s family and loved ones,” he said. I stand in solidarity with them in this difficult time.
In Anantnag, on Monday, terrorists opened fire on Deepu. After which Deepu was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he died.
