Ranchi, May 13 (). In Uttamrit Middle School Islampur of Pakur district of Jharkhand, a teacher who had beaten up a student was beaten up by the student’s family members and then made to do sit-ups on the road. Teachers from all over the district are enraged over this incident. He has warned of agitation if the accused are not arrested.

It was told that the examination was going on in the upgraded middle school Islampur on Saturday and during this time a student was repeatedly entering the examination center. Angered by this, the teacher thrashed the student. The student reached his home and gave this information to his family members. As soon as the information was received, the relatives reached the school and started fighting with the teacher. During this, other people of the village also reached and took the teacher on the road and holding his ear started making him do sit-ups. When the police got information about this, they reached the spot. However, by the time the police arrived, everyone had fled.

Frightened teachers left the school after the incident. He informed the officials of the education department about the incident of assault. After this, the teachers’ union leaders and hundreds of teachers reached the cluster resource center located at the district headquarters and protested against the assault. Giving an ultimatum of three days, he said that if action is not taken against the accused and their arrest, they will agitate.
