Lucknow, April 18 (). Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that the pair of PM Modi and CM Yogi has worked beyond imagination for Uttar Pradesh. Today both the picture and the character of UP have changed.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal was speaking on Tuesday in the program of MoU organized for the establishment of one thousand acres wide textile park in Lucknow-Hardoi under the PM Mega Integrated Textile and Apparel (PM Mitra) scheme. He said that the people of Uttar Pradesh know very well what discrimination is in development works. Till 2017, the people of UP have faced this discrimination. Today, when the double engine government is working, the changed picture of UP in six years is in front of all of us.
Said that many governments have come and gone in UP. Everyone worked to fulfill their political interests. Law and order and infrastructure are the most essential demands for setting up industries in any state. A lot of work has been done in Uttar Pradesh in the last few years. This is the reason that UP has moved ahead towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy.
Piyush Goyal said that an event like the Global Investors Summit in Uttar Pradesh was unimaginable. Investors from the country and abroad were standing in competition in UP GIS. No other state in the country has talent and hard work like UP. In the coming days, the direction of development and the condition of the people here is going to change.
Union Minister of State for Textiles Vikram Jardosh said that handloom and handicraft is a skill, keeping this in mind, Prime Minister Modi has given it the status of Vishwakarma. Most women are associated with this skill. By joining this, the women of the country and Uttar Pradesh are getting empowered. The double engine government under the leadership of CM Yogi is doing very good work in this field. We have learned a lot from CM Yogi. The basis of One Station One Product is One District One Product Scheme of UP. Handlooms and handicrafts have been installed at 750 stations in the country. Women are being given priority in this.
The MoU was handed over in the program between Rohit Kansal, Additional Secretary, Textiles, Government of India and Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Handloom and Textile Industries, MSME, Government of Uttar Pradesh. This park is being developed in collaboration with the Central and State Governments, in which private participation will also take place. MoUs were also transferred among private investors Aditya Birla Group, M/s GSL Spinners Pvt Ltd, M/s Azum Denim Cart LNP, M/s Abhikim Textile Ltd, M/s SVM, M/s Zosis India Pvt Ltd, M/s MLK Export Ltd and M/s Path Thread Pvt Ltd.
