In this match played on 21 January at Bayumas Oval ground in Kuala Lumpur, India bowled first and bundled out Malaysia for 31 runs in just 14.3 overs. Apart from Vaishnavi Sharma, Ayushi Sharma took 3 wickets for 8 runs and Joshita VJ took 1 wicket for 5 runs.

Aggressive start by Indian batsmen
India achieved the target of 32 runs in just 2.5 overs. Gongadi Trisha batted brilliantly and scored an unbeaten 27 runs and gave India a resounding victory by 10 wickets.
