Director Merlapaka Gandhi’s upcoming Indo-Korean horror comedy, tentatively titled #VT15, has returned to Hyderabad for its latest shooting phase. Industry sources indicate that the fourth schedule is currently in progress, with several pivotal scenes featuring Varun Tej being filmed rapidly. The team recently concluded an extensive foreign shooting schedule in South Korea, where significant portions of the film were shot. Previously, the production houses — UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment — officially revealed that the Korea schedule included essential and entertaining sequences, generating high expectations for what they call a “haunting yet hilarious ride.” Before traveling abroad, the unit completed filming in Ananthapur, capturing action and humor-driven scenes across iconic locations such as KIA grounds and picturesque rural settings.
A highlight from that schedule was a creatively produced song featuring Varun Tej and lead actress Ritika Nayak, filmed in rustic landscapes that complement the film’s quirky horror theme. Cast members Satya, Mirchi Kiran, and others have reportedly infused vibrant humor into the narrative, achieving a balance of chills and laughter across all filmed segments thus far. #VT15 has been generating significant buzz since its official announcement on Varun Tej’s birthday, primarily due to its distinctive Indo-Korean collaboration, which is rare in Indian cinema. With music composed by S. Thaman and production design by Paneer Selvam, the film promises a polished and entertaining visual experience.
As the Hyderabad schedule progresses, fans eagerly anticipate further updates on this culturally blended horror comedy that is becoming one of the most thrilling projects of Varun Tej’s career.
