New Delhi, April 18 (). A 20-year-old woman was found hanging from the fan of her house in South Delhi’s Neb Sarai area. An official gave this information on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Priyanka.
According to the police, the matter came to light on Monday when a person named Harsh (21) received a call at around 7.40 pm that his wife had committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan.
While taking action, a police team reached the spot and found the woman hanging from the ceiling fan by her saree, a senior police officer said. No suicide note was found from there.
The body has been taken to AIIMS for postmortem, the official said. During interrogation, it is learned that both of them got married six months ago. A Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) inquiry is underway.
