Gandhinagar, May 25 (). The BJP in Gujarat on Thursday asked state BJP chief C.R. Patil announced the appointment of new district heads after the changes were approved.
Mukesh Doshi, former chairman of education committee, has been made BJP president (chief) of Rajkot city in place of Kamlesh Mirani.
On the other hand, Alpesh Dholaria, chairman of Gondal Marketing Yard, has been made the head of Rajkot district. In addition, Ranchodbhai Dalwadi has been appointed as the new chief of Morbi, while Devjibhai Varchand has taken over as the chief of Kutch.
Party sources said the decision to reform the district leadership structure is aimed at bringing in new approaches to strengthen the organizational structure of the party.
