Patna/New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) launched its manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections on Friday, vowing to generate one crore jobs, enhance industrial growth, and improve infrastructure throughout the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar presented the document in Patna, joined by BJP president JP Nadda, Union ministers Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chirag Paswan, and RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha. BJP’s Bihar chief Dilip Jaiswal characterized the manifesto as a promise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a reflection of the trust in Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, asserting that the alliance partners exemplified unity akin to the “Pandavas” of the Mahabharata.
He stated, “The people of Bihar trust the guarantees of PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar,” and emphasized that the public would “never forgive Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav” for the “ruin of Bihar.” The manifesto focuses on job creation, women’s empowerment, and substantial investments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare. Nadda described it as a pledge to the welfare of farmers, job opportunities for the youth, women’s empowerment, infrastructure advancement, the establishment of new businesses, and the development of a self-sufficient Bihar,” in a post on X. The Bihar Assembly elections are set to take place in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with vote counting scheduled for November 14.
