One fatality and four injured in two road accidents

A man lost his life and four young individuals sustained injuries in two distinct road incidents on Wednesday in the Parthala Chowk and Sector 104 areas, according to police reports. One man, riding his bike from Noida to Greater Noida West, was near the Parthala Bridge around 3:15 AM when he reportedly lost control and collided with the divider, resulting in severe injuries, stated Phase-3 Inspector-in-Charge Puneet Kumar. The biker was pronounced dead during treatment at the district hospital; his body has been secured and sent for a post-mortem examination, while his identity remains unknown.

In a separate incident, four young individuals traveling in a car near Sector 104 were injured when their speeding vehicle lost control and struck a divider early Wednesday, police mentioned. The injured have been identified as Ashwani Mishra, Aman, Prateek, and Tushar, as reported by Sector 39 Inspector in-charge Jitendra Kumar Singh. They were initially treated at the district hospital in Noida but were later transferred to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital due to a deterioration in their condition. A friend of the group informed police that one of the young men had celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, and they were returning from a party in Morna village, Singh noted. The police are looking into the incidents, Singh added.
